The Icarus Account, comprised of twin brothers Ty and Trey Turner, hail from Fort Myers, Florida. The brothers both play every instrument produced on their albums, including guitars, drums, piano, mandolin, and violin. In 2007, The Icarus Account released a six-song EP, Hold on for Dear Life, followed by their first full-length album, Mayday, in 2008. Very recently, on December 1, 2009, the band released their second full-length album, Love is the Answer. Comparatively, The Icarus Account has not achieved the fame of bands such as The Maine, who just started releasing their music two years ago, as well. However, the brothers are comfortable with their situation. They both just dropped out of college to focus on and pursue a musical career. Their music is classified as soft rock and quite often acoustic. The Icarus Account is hoping to see some success with their new album and continue touring. Ty and Trey have toured throughout southeastern, Midwestern, and all along the east coast of the United States and look to expand this outreach in the coming years. You can follow Ty and Trey through The Icarus Account’s Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, PureVolume.com, and YouTube websites. To date, they have no professional music videos; nevertheless, they do record live songs and post them on their websites for fans to see in good quality. The Icarus Account is a hopeful, thriving band that continues to produce music, hoping to eventually catch fire and take off in the musical world.
